Dr. Simeon Oyugi our Africa Director reports the following as a sample of what God is doing in Africa: Kenya, the DCI Training in Rift Valley opened with song, dance and celebrations. See a multi-group of Police, Community leaders and Church leaders, taking three-days of DCI Training in Kenya.
In Northern Ghana, Rev. Abraham, did a DCI Training with 200 leaders.
In Liberia, Rev. Chris the DCI National Director just started the DCI Training today (June 7).
After Training DCI Leaders from 32 Communities of Ivory Coast, they were Commissioned and they also opened New Branch Churches and all was accompanied by a great celebration. The leaders are trained and in place for a Great Harvest!
June will be a DCI Month all over Africa with multiple Trainings in all 8 Regions of the Continent and these reports above are only a Sample of What God is doing in Africa. There is reason for much joy!
Clair Ziolkowski reports on Beautiful Feet Ministries (BFM). (DCI Partner) The message of God’s love and grace is what BFM carries in every meal that is supplied, every teddy bear, blanket, pillowcase dress or boy’s shorts that are handed out, our Pastoral resources DCI training and all that we do in Africa and in Syria. This is the heart of BFM, reaching the lost and equipping those who can reach them.
The 3-classroom school that BFM funded, has been completed, furnished with desks, and classes have begun.
In Malawi and Mozambique, our motorcycle evangelists are working hard, conducting evangelistic crusades and 2 more churches were started in April in Mozambique where less than 1% are reached with the Gospel.
Our Sask to Syria project, started by Ehab and Rabab, is now working on their relief food baskets for war- torn Syria. What food there is, costs 55 times more than pre-war prices. 1/3 of the children in Syria are suffering from malnutrition.
Good News! BFM will be receiving 1,000 Global Study Bibles at no charge from a very generous publisher! This is about $75,000 worth of quality study bibles. BFM was also approved to receive 18 Jesus Film backpacks, also at no charge, worth about $45,000!! These backpacks come with a projector, screen, solar panels and in the needed languages. Praise the Lord!
Junisia Angihan reports on DCI Northern Philippines:
Joan Dugyonon-Apgo gave discipleship training to the youth group. 7 churches took the discipleship training. 107 (75 people completed Dynamic Basic, and 32 are studying Dynamic Discipling). The missionaries will help them make disciples in their Churches in remote villages.
Frontier Ministries of LTC in Myanmar DCI trainer Yongkon reports on outreach for April and May:
970 people were reached with the gospel,
170 received Jesus Christ as their Savior,
47 were baptized and 15 more ready to be baptized.
2 Women’s seminars and
2 Spiritual Awakening Crusades were conducted, and
7 new Churches were recently started in Myanmar.
These are particularly challenging times politically in Myanmar and we praise God that He is reaching out to these people who are so hungry to know Him. There are 3 Evangelists who each need $130. per Month for their salary. And $130. per Month for Nonmutsupha the new Women’s Ministry Coordinator’s salary. Plus, there is an urgent need for $1,500. for a motorbike to get them into the villages.
In so many countries they are doing so much with so little!
