Paul says in Ephesians 1:15 to 23:

15 For this reason, ever since I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all God’s people, 16 I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers. 17 I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. 18 I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, 19 and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength 20 he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, 21 far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. 22 And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, 23 which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way.

With all that God is doing in DCI we should not be surprised that Satan is attacking us and our team of faithful Staff and Trainers. Below watch for signs of the enemy’s attack (in red) and how God overcame! (in blue)

Prayer Warriors An email from one faithful friend and prayer warrior: (The real force behind our ministry!)

“I pray for you 3 hours a day and never miss. I do this because GOD has asked me to do it and I consider it a very important request. GOD has told me He appreciates you. GOD says “you are going to get those (needed) funds but there is a significant war going on with the dark forces”.

GOD says “you need to pray protection over yourselves and your organization” as the dark forces will be after you. GOD, BLESS YOU”.

Ron and Bev Nelson Alberta Directors Report on their ongoing Ministry in Haiti: Ron has experienced health problems since December. His health is improving now, but we need to be praying for him and for his wife Bev.
God has provided $3,000 CDN for Bibles in Haiti so far. Praise God! The need is still great as there is a revival going on there and Bibles in Creole are in short supply. Can you help? Pray for Jean Claude (at right) who Ron works with in Haiti.

Hans and Elly Timmermans Canadians serving in Malawi, East Africa: They Report:

“The team of 4 national leaders have gone to each specific area 3 times for 4- 5 days at a time over 5-6 months, teaching the leaders about the Explosive Growth principles…teaching them how to do one-to-one discipleship, the principles of multiplying Life Groups, and training leaders to reproduce themselves. We have heard so many testimonies from those who have been trained about how the lessons have been well received and immediately put into practice. We can count – from the multiplication charts alone that there are 251 Life Groups and 275 well trained leaders. The verse in John 13:35 “By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” is proving to be true. Neighboring villages are asking, “Why are you different? We want what you have!” Unfortunately, we can’t track all the groups, but we know that there are many more! Each Life Group has an apprentice and a host/hostess. We know there are well over 400 Life Groups, of between 10 and 40 members each, functioning in Northern Malawi – reaching out to their neighbors and family members; discipling those who have come to Christ for salvation. Each leader who has been trained is actively training others who will do the same.”

Simeon Oyugi Nairobi, Kenya:

Praise God we are registered in Africa as Love Africa International Foundation! This will be part of DCI. “We are having strange famine covering 70-80% of Kenya, both animals and people are dying in big numbers. Water is drying up and the dam supplying Nairobi is drying as well and we have a serious shortage of water supply. After prayer and fasting, my wife went down with strong fever, but God’s hand is upon her. Also we (DCI) were able to help with school fees and rent!

“I Simeon was attacked by 2 thugs at gun point who robbed me of my belongings,
documents, money and phone. God protected me and they spared my life though it almost ended up in kidnapping which could have been very tragic. God blocked their minds from asking me the bank card pin number because if they had that, they could have taken all the school fees because they are still at the Bank as the lecturers at university are still on strike and the fees are not due yet. If the guns which were pointed to my head and heart were triggered, you may not have heard from me or seen me again and that could have been very unfortunate for DCI in Africa and my family, but God is great, His angels were all around me and the Blood of Jesus covered me through all this horrible time.
I need more and more of your prayers! I will keep on going, and if I die, I will die serving Jesus, multiplying Disciples and Training more leaders in Africa to the glory of God the father. God, bless you. Simeon.

“Greeting from rainy Davao! All of Mindanao is under heavy rain for almost a week. Neighbouring provinces of Davao City are severely flooded and roads are not passable. Many are stranded on the road due to landslides or floods and have suffered starvation, and some have died of drowning. We covet your prayers.”

“At present, I’m training 13 pastors and church leaders, representing 10 local churches, who are interested to start Discovery Groups in their community. We meet every 3rd Thursday of the month for 3 hours for sharing their experiences, mentoring, monitoring, evaluation, training and prayer. We call this monthly group meeting a Pastors’ Discovery Group Network Meeting. In the first 2 meetings we did orientation of the Discovery Group and experiencing an actual Discovery Group session. This session they will submit the names of their Start-up Discovery Group, a minimum of 5, who will soon connect to the community and start their own Discovery Group(s). There is a potential of 11 Start-up Discovery Groups with 50 individuals who will reach out to their surrounding communities and hopefully soon beyond their communities. Pray that the Holy Spirit will continue to empower these leaders. Your brother in Christ,” Jing L. Estrella

Clair Ziolkowski – Canadian working in Zambia: Clair was in Airdrie to visit his family over Christmas, and so he spent a couple of hours with us. He is planning to go back to Zambia in April. He has accumulated a container full of books and Bibles, dried foods, clothing etc. Clair is having DCI books printed in Zambia and is setting up DCI training workshops with Pastors and will be equipping a team of national leaders to be able to continue the DCI training after he returns to Canada.
Ramananda- North Central India reports:

“I am very excited to let you know that within seven months our 10 church planters have reached out to 1821 non Christian/Hindu families with gospel tracts and literature. We also did One-to- One Dynamic Basic with 672 individuals, and praise the Lord, out of them 89 young men and women accepting Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. They are under the good care of our church planters who have established nine house fellowships/small churches of 10 to 15 believers in different fields.
In October 2016, I was invited to witness Christ among the orthodox Hindu Meiteis in the state of Assam for six days. The first night was so horrible with so many drunkards. They were even trying to hit me and stone me for preaching gospel. They destroyed the first night program. I was indeed shocked, and worrying about how to continue.
My prayer was, Lord you have brought me here for your own purpose not mine, so even if it cost me my life please let your purpose be fulfilled and your kingdom be expanded. Jesus I am ready to do anything for your glory and no matter what happens I will preach.
The next day God took me to a different village. I know I gave my word to Jesus, but still there was war within me. My flesh and Satan told me not to witness, he gave me fear as I recalled the last night’s situation. But my heart was so willing to witness even if it costs my life, and the Spirit of God was touching and moving me saying “Son I brought you here and I am with you now, do not be afraid” soon after I heard the voice of God, it was wonderful, all fear was gone! I stood up and witnessed fearlessly. What a great joy it was to see the great and mighty works of our almighty God! There were still many drunkards but they couldn’t speak anything against me. Hallelujah! As I was asking anyone who was willing to accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior to come forward for confessional prayer, it was so marvelous and incredible, I couldn’t believe that altogether 350 men, women and children came with tears and confessed their sins and accepted Jesus that night! Thus all throughout the week, in the midst of much opposition, disturbances and inconveniences, we saw God’s mighty hand, mighty acts and loving care by bringing many souls into His own kingdom in and through our lives and ministries there.
The evangelists/church planters are actively and faithfully serving God, but these days I am really struggling for their monthly supports. Anyway God has been so faithful thus far, and I pray and strongly believe that He will still be faithful even in the coming days as we serve only HIM. Our three days fasting prayer each month gives us strength.”
