Joy to the World – The LORD Has Come!

Mary and I wish you and your family a most wonderful Christmas season as we celebrate the coming of our Savior Jesus Christ who left Heaven to be born into our messy world. Where would we be without Him? So many people are suffering and struggling this year, but with the coming of Jesus we can rejoice, becauseHe brings us Life, Peace, Joy and Hope today and for the future!

Family Update: We keep busy with birthdays and anniversaries. On November 17th Mary and I celebrated 63 years of marriage with a few days in Canmore, AB. Our family continues to expand. Joan and Earl’s son Reggie and his wife Johanna gave birth to a son, Ragnar, on October 17, bringing us up to 12 great-grandchildren so far.

Our family is enjoying good health and God’s blessing for which we are so thankful!
The Future is Looking Very Bright for DCI!

“The one who calls you is faithful, and He will do it.” 1 Thessalonians 5:24

We have a new Executive Director as of November 1. Please see the attached Letter of Introduction. I am so pleased that God has called Merle Doherty to continue the vision God gave Mary and me when He called us to start DCI 35 years ago.

The Vision of Dynamic Churches International has not changed, but we needed to get a younger person in place as the Director to carry it forward. God has gifted Merle with leadership and administrative abilities to take the ministry into new methods of getting our message and training out to a greater audience. He is already exploring innovative ideas and methods to use today’s technology. Praise God with us and pray for Merle as he carries on the DCI vision.

Mary has turned over the bookkeeping to Esther Lam and she is doing an amazing job!

I (Al) will not be retiring at this time! My position has changed from Executive Director to adviser to Merle. I will be orienting him to the ministry training and philosophy of DCI.

God bless you for your generous and faithful support and prayers over these many years. Mary and I will still need your support.
